Good morning Chase,
Well, I am hoping to make the trip to FSJ this afternoon to participate in the evening autocross. I did my trial test loading of the car on the trailer earlier and it does go on, a bit of caution needed on the centering of the car and at the moment I have to use the window to get in and out but that is solvable down the road. I'm just going to have to be careful today as my gf is gone on work and I won't have my spotter to watch the nose of the car as I load. But I made some crude wooden ramps that should work and give me the additional lift I am needing. I wonder if Juan could weld me up some proper ramps in the future??!!
But I just really wanted to extend my thanks on what a great job you've been doing on/with the forum, with updates of the events but more so with the video clips, photos and especially with the times/results of the autocrosses!!!!
Sometimes websites get made but it can be a challenge to keep them updated with activities due to the time required and I just wanted to say thanks for the clear effort that is going into this site...............
Cheers,
Garry

And the car is loaded and ready to roll! I'm sort of excited! Much confidence was gained in loading the car and strapping it down. I have an upcoming trip to Ponoka in early July for a Corvette love-fest and to meet a bunch of the fellows from the Canadian Corvette Forum. I met a slew of the guys when I was in Ontario last April/May and now it will be a chance to meet some of the Western Canadian crew.
I hope that blue Z06 that has been in FSJ shows up too - strength in numbers!
Until suppertime then!
Cheers,
Garry

I try to update the website pretty regularly but until the forum really starts picking up I only check it every so often. You can make comments on the website as well.

My thanks to Chase and Mike for teh effort they put into this event! It was a great deal of fun and a pity that more people didn't participate. It means more runs for us who did but it would have been nice to see some more cars out. A much different atmosphere at this course compared to Dawson Creek, much longer but very challenging! I hope I was some help at setup and sorry I had to leave before cleanup - I got home at 12:30 and it almost took me the whole day to recover - for a guy with a 9:30 bedtime! I've posted some videos, there will be 4 of them I think, here is a link to one of them............I learned lots about camera mounting too - like to tighten the screws better! www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2tK8LfwhggCheers, Garry
